Palo Alto Baylands Guided Nature Walk with Corinne DeBra

Corinne DeBra lead us on a Palo Alto Baylands park natural history tour in honor of Dan and Teri DeBra on June 21st, 2024 in the morning. Dan and Teri loved and enjoyed the Baylands for walks, sunsets over the Bay, visiting Corinne at the Nature Center and watching John Flynn fly the bald eagle Sequoia. This was a favorite spot for many decades along with Shoreline Park in Mountain View.

 

Dan DeBra Memorial Bike Ride, June 22nd, 2024

Family and friends gathered on July 22nd, 2024 for a bike ride in memory of Dan. Big thank you and gratitude to Mark Sullivan who spearheaded the organization, the snack stop, the sag wagon and these photos. There was a shorter 20-mile route and a longer ??-mile route - OOPS that would be ?? km and ?? km. Most of us were able to wear a custom bucket hat so that Dan’s famous style lives on! Blue or white hats for Dan say Go Metric (he was a life-long supporter of that organization!) and pink hats for Teri show off her famous yodeling skills: Yodellay - he - hoo! We have a few more bucket hats left, if anyone else would like to carry on the tradition.
